What's Black & White 'N' Cute All Over?

On Friday, April 8th, 2016 (National Zoo Lovers Day) I spent the day observing the Giant Pandas at the Toronto Zoo. For the record I am well aware that there are another 5000 or so animals at the zoo.  Thankfully, I made the choice when I was planning my visit to focus on the pandas this trip.
Honestly, how many times have you visited the zoo?   How many animals did you see? Can you accurately recall specific details like their eating preferences, their sleeping patterns, or even identify specific personality traits of the individual animals?   Most of my previous zoo visits have been a blur. Plus, I would be lucky if I came out with one or two good photos.  So I decided on a concentrated study (kind of like what I used to do for my undergrad in Art History.)
Instead, of going to an art gallery and staring at one painting for at least an hour I decided to go to the zoo to stare at one animal for at least a couple hours.  I ended up spending the entire day observing the pandas Er Shun, Da Mao, Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue.  As a result, I can honestly say I will remember this zoo visit for the rest of my life.
