UNCDTNL presents Ebhoni, Witch Prophet and Sydanie on May 8th, at The Baby G, as part of Canadian Music Week. UNCDTNL was created by Yvette Angela and Deneita Evans in order to further their goal of supporting rising hip hop and R & B artists. The pair have collaborated on a number of events in Toronto. Most notably Manifesto. They are eager to provide opportunities for other aspiring women of colour (WOC) in the music industry. “We are most excited about meeting new women to collaborate with on events that include amazing artists. While at the same time creating viable work opportunities for women of colour (WOC) outside of typical unpaid internships." states Yvette Angela. She goes on to acknowledge FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent On Recordings). With their support UNCDTNL "will be able to learn and gain experience in all aspects of this industry including publicity, marketing, event production, talent buying and more,” UNCDTNL is eager to build a platform for women across the diaspora at the front and back of house They will work alongside social media expert and music YouTuber, Cassandra Chambers, Hanan Dinong and Ruth Kayembe of Dreamhouse Collective, content creator Selam Kashay, Vanessa Adora (Communications), and Ebyan Abdigir (Journalist).
