TORONTO, ON – Today, JUNO Award-winning, Prince Edward Island based The East Pointers, are excited to announce their 2019 Canadian tour dates, kicking off in Vancouver on November 1., with a stopover in Toronto to perform at Lee's Palace on November 14, as they continue heading east to wrap up the tour in their home town Charlottetown, PEI on November 30th.
Also announced, The East Pointers’ new single “Wintergreen” from their forthcoming album, will be released July 12 via all digital retailers. “Wintergreen” was produced by GRAMMY Award-winning Gordie Sampson (LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts), is a fresh and vibrant take on folk music, bringing the bands furious live show energy to a song. But at the core, ‘Wintergreen’ is about offering a light in the darkness to those who need it. The East Pointers are comprised of fiddler/singer Tim Chaisson, banjoist Koady Chaisson and guitarist Jake Charron. Known for their blistering live shows and palpable authenticity, the band has performed over 450 shows in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, UK, Europe, Mexico, United States and Canada.
