ROLLO BAY, PEI – The 43rd annual Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival is pleased to announce their 2019 lineup featuring 2019 ECMA winners The Barra MacNeils, 2019 ECMA winners and 2017 JUNO Award winners The East Pointers, PEI natives Vishtèn, and ECMA winner Richard Wood. Taking place July 19 - July 21, 2019 in Rollo Bay, PEI, the festival attracts the best artists from the fiddling tradition, including international guests and local groups.
The festival will also include performances by: Mairi Rankin, The Chaisson Family, Shane Cook, Teresa Doyle, Liz Stringer, Sean Gray, Stacey Read, Scott Cook, DOC, Ward MacDonald, Inn Echo, Joe MacMaster, Dara Smith-MacDonald & Adam Young, Scandinavian String Alliance, The Chaisson Trio, Thomas Harrington, Ellen MacPhee, Kate Bevan-Baker. Days before the festival, the 4thannual Rollo Bay Music Camp will open its doors for students to learn from world class instructors and fiddle festival artists while enjoying the beautiful landscape of Eastern Prince Edward Island in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Music Camp allows attendees to learn traditional styles of fiddle, guitar, tenor banjo, piano, dance, accordion, bodhran, song writing, and step dancing from July 16-18. Coming from BC to PEI for the festival and have purchased tickets but would like to see the Barra MacNeills on the 20. How do I get tickets to their show? Thanks
