One Night Only - Wednesday, February 28th The Phoenix Concert Theatre TORONTO, ON - There are now more reasons to Get Out of the Blues on Wednesday, February 28th! The Official Blues Brothers Revue, a multimedia interactive performance created by Dan Akyroyd, Judith Belushi Pisano and the original Blues Brothers Musical Director Paul Shaffer, will be joined on stage by John Moore, Morning Show host of NewsTalk 1010 and Steve Anthony, co-host of CP24 Breakfast. Also joining the evening's festivities is recording artist Tomi Swick, with his duo Strummers Union.
The Official Blues Brothers Revue will perform the blues and soul classics that were brought to the mainstream by the original Blues Brothers including "Soul Man", "Shout", "Gimme Some Lovin" and "Sweet Home Chicago". It promises to be an upbeat night of music and dancing sorely needed after one of the coldest winters on record. All proceeds from ticket sales, as well as the silent auction, will be donated to CAMH Gifts of Light. Auction items include courtside Raptors tickets, tickets for Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Journey, Blue Jays tickets and more.
