NXNE, presented by Aurora, is pleased to announce the second round of programming for the Yonge-Dundas Square ‘Festival Village’ Scottish synth-pop act Chvrches, Canadian Juno award winner LIGHTS, and Jasmyn Burke’s (Weaves) solo project STRANDS join previously announced acts Jazz Cartier, Azealia Banks and Big Freedia for the 2018 edition. Yonge Street will be open to pedestrians between Dundas and Queen Streets to host this year’s free programming component of the festival, which includes music, comedy and Craft Land, where festival goers can enjoy local brews while watching their favourite local and international acts perform in the heart of downtown Toronto.
