Doors Open has always fascinated me.  To be able to see behind the scenes, beyond the general public's view, is like being  treated as a VIP.  The problem arises when you realize how many awesome places they have available for Doors Open Toronto.  How can you possibly decide?
I scanned the Doors Open Toronto website.  At first I was simply intrigued by the name Fool's Paradise.  It seemed like a place where I might actually fit in. (LOL)  Then I realized it was fairly close to home.  It could easily fit into the activities of a sunny Saturday afternoon (between dog walking and a food truck festival). To top it all off, it was once the residence of artist Doris McCarthy who lived. to be 100 years old.
I can appreciate Doris wanting to make her home at the top of the Scarborough Bluffs.  It would be exhilarating living life on the edge.  The above photo is my favourite image of my visit to Fool's Paradise.
