Delhi 2 Dublin Returning To Toronto In Two Weeks

Vancouver based Delhi 2 Dublin performed a high octane set on May 9th, 2019 at the Rivoli as part of Canadian Music Week 2019.. They will be returning to play the Drake Underground on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019.  If you ever had trouble get over hump day Delhi 2 Dublin is the cure.  

Delhi 2 Dublin​’s distinctive sound has evolved over the past decade into its own decisive genre styled “Subcontinental Pop”— a fusion of Bhangra, electric, funk, reggae, Celtic music and a mash up of others.  In other words, Delhi 2 Dublin has brought "World Music" to the mainstream.  

The supercharged complexity of their sound flows from high-level folk with alternative-pop blended delivered across an array of acoustic instruments dhol, tabla, violin, and guitar.  Then it is immersed in heavy sometimes gritty and invariably joyful elctronic beats.
