TORONTO, ON – On March 4, four-time JUNO Award nominee bülow joined MusiCounts, Canada’s leading music education charity, for a special announcement and celebration of the 2019 MusiCounts Band Aid Program recipients at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School in London, ON. For the first time ever, MusiCounts will be awarding $1 million in musical instruments and equipment to 96 schools across Canada, in part due to over $130K raised by the London JUNO Host Committee.

Multi-platinum selling bülow performed a special surprise acoustic set of "Two Punks In Love" and "Not A Love Song" for the students at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School before unveiling $15,000 worth of musical instruments for the school’s music program. The 2019 JUNO Nominee for Pop Album of the Year, JUNO Fan Choice Presented by TD, Single of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year Sponsored by FACTOR, The Government of Canada and Canada’s Private Radio Broadcasters, also answered questions from the music class and shared her own experiences.
In the lead up to JUNO Week $1 per ticket from select shows at London Music Hall, Budweiser Gardens and Centennial Hall was donated to MusiCounts. Additionally, the JUNO Awards partnered with the City of London, and $1 from every broadcast ticket will be donated to MusiCounts, helping to ensure that children across Canada have access to musical instruments.
