Matt and Kim were celebrating a couple things last night at their Toronto area concert. One was the final concert of their tour. The other, opening night of Canadian Music Week. They exploded onto the Phoenix Concert Theatre stage with their single "It's Alright". Followed by their singles "Block After Block", "Hey Now", and a thoroughly rowdy concert that included some professional level crowd surfing,
Even though it was a Monday evening the audience was came to party like they had a full weekend to recover before they had to go back to dealing with bosses or professors.
Matt and Kim were definitely the right choice to headline the Opening Night celebration of Canadian Music Week. Their chemistry is phenomenal - both between them and with their audience. If that doesn't make you a fan I don't know what will.
The good news is that there are still six more nights left of Canadian Music Week. Get your festival wrist bands here before it's too late. (Sorry the VIP ones are Sold Out).
